The southern tip of Nicoya Peninsula is a magnet for the international surfing community. In Santa Teresa, Costa Rica you will have waves for everyone all year round. This is one of the reasons why the area is blessed =)

It just takes a mask and you can explore the tide pools to find the closest reef formations on the local beach which are revealed during when low tide

The nearby Tortuga Islands also known as Turtle Islands are one of the most beautiful ecological paradises in the golf of the Nicoya Peninsula and a must for ocean lovers.

Enjoy nature’s best swimming in crystal waters with schools of tropical color fish and observe the giant manta rays and sea turtles.

Over the unique Manzanillo Beach, reef formations are large and home of a rich ecosystem full of a wide diversity of marine life you can explore.

Charters leave daily to the Tortuga Islands to for a full day tour. Private tours can be arranged for honeymooners or big groups.

Sport Fishing

The Santa Teresa /Mal Pais area is one of the top destinations in the world for sport fishing. The diversity of the waters on the tip of Nicoya´speninsulaare perfect for experienced anglers looking for the fish of a life time or adventure amateurs who are just looking for an Eco friendly vacation time.

In deep ocean tours, we go to know feeding areas home of big game IGFA World Records, where the pelagic Marlin and Sailfish are the most wanted ones.

In Santa Teresa, next to Cabo Blanco ecological paradise, Mother Nature shows are magnificent in abundance and sometimes unexpected. A Humpback whale jumps just right next to the boat and the schools of dolphin follow, a turtle or Manta ray are things that can change the daily plans.

Every year, large schools of Sardines are driven into the shadow waters during their migration, so close to shore, that form one of the most beautiful happenings.

The pelicans and seagulls make spectaculars dives into the ocean and the predators charge the sardine banks until they get pushed over to the sand by the waves.

The whole local community came to fish with hand lines and you see all the family enjoying a good catch together.

We use all tecnics & modalities maybe trolling, Flyfishing, spinning, Poppers, kayak fishing, jigging or live bate depending on the feeding patterns and de conditions of the ocean at the moment.

Through the season we are likely to get: Mahi Mahi or Dorado, Rooster Fish, Spanish mackerel, Wahoo, Grouper, Barracuda, Red Snapper, Yellow fin and Blue fin tuna and more.

A local guide, who knows these waters from childhood and an English spoken professional guide, will give you the best experience in the area.

The charters provide all the fishing equipment, transportations from the hotel to the hardboard, snacks and drinks.

We practice Catch and Release for the future generations .It's the way to respect Mather Nature and is something everyone should just be teach,  especially fisherman.
